Grew up in Marblehead, have lived in Manchester, MA since 1982. Stationed at Naval Academy in sailing program after Harvard. Editorial staff of Yachting magazine, 1962-72. Chaired 1990 and 1992 Bermuda Race Committees. Sailed on 1968 winner Robin (Ted Hood). Authored "Gretel II Disqualified" about involvement as NYYC Race Committee chairman in controversial 1970 America's Cup incident. Have owned Boulaceet Farm in the Bras D'Or with Larry Glenn and Harry Anderson since 1985. Chairman of Boston Station Membership Committee in 1980s. Co-Chairman 2019 CCA Fall Meeting in Boston. Editor of CCA monthly WAYPOINTS, 2017- .
